We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, various roofing systems on residential homes. Your expertise will ensure roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine roofing specifications and project requirements
• Install roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membrane systems with precision and attention to detail
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and secure roofing components
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate efficient installation and repairs
• Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify damage or deterioration requiring repair or replacement
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines
• Assist with masonry, carpentry, plumbing, or other related tasks as needed for comprehensive roofing solutions

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects
• Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints related to roofing systems
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, tiles, membranes, and flashing
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely in various weather conditions
• Basic understanding of masonry, carpentry, plumbing or other trades beneficial for integrated building projects
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety standards and quality craftsmanship

Pay: £160.00-£220.00 per day

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stoke-on-Trent
