Responsibilities

• Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan installation processes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and assemble roofing materials.
• Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, membranes, and other materials with precision and safety.
• Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment while adhering to proper safety protocols.
• Conduct repairs on damaged roofs by replacing or patching roofing components efficiently.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other related trades as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and best practices during every phase of work.

Skills

• Strong understanding of roofing techniques and materials.
• Proficiency with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing or related construction skills is highly desirable.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for roofing projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
