Responsibilities

• Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment to install, repair, or replace various roofing systems.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to facilitate efficient project progress.
• Fabricate custom components or modify existing materials using welding, cutting, or shaping techniques as needed.
• Apply roofing materials with attention to detail, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing for long-lasting results.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other construction professionals to coordinate project tasks seamlessly.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects; familiarity with roofing systems is highly preferred.
• Skilled in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques relevant to roofing tasks.
• Knowledge of masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and general construction practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and handling heavy or hazardous materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship.

Pay: £103.15-£262.53 per day
