In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Duties

• Install a variety of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingles, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
• Conduct roof repairs and restoration work to extend the lifespan of existing roofs, addressing leaks, damage, or wear.
• Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fastening, sealing, and finishing roofing components.
• Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in accordance with construction safety regulations to access roofs securely.
• Perform siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, caulking, masonry work, and tile laying as part of comprehensive exterior or interior renovations.
• Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations by wearing safety harnesses, following safety protocols during heavy lifting or working at heights, and maintaining a clean worksite.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair.
• Knowledge of various roofing systems including metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique.
• Experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations related to roof work and general site safety practices.

Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per day
