Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Install new roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials according to project specifications and technical drawings
• Perform roofing repairs by replacing damaged shingles, tiles, or panels to restore roof integrity
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials
• Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and adherence to safety protocols
• Conduct siding installation, drywall work, caulking, stucco application, and metal stud framing as needed for remodeling projects
• Follow construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and workplace safety regulations at all times during outdoor work
• Assist with fabrication of roofing components or other building materials on-site when required
• Lift heavy materials safely using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury during installation or repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and procedures

Skills

• Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively
• Knowledge of roofing materials such as metal panels, single-ply membranes, shingles, tiles, and siding products
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications accurately
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including harnesses, ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, and general safety protocol adherence
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred
• Skilled in drywall installation, caulking techniques, stucco application, metal framing including metal stud framing
• Familiarity with remodeling processes involving roofing or exterior wall systems
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor activity
• Handyman experience or general construction site experience is a plus for versatile project support

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
