Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install roofing materials.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to facilitate efficient installation.
• Apply roofing materials with precision to ensure waterproofing and durability across various surfaces.
• Conduct repairs on damaged roofs by replacing shingles, flashing, or sections of roofing material as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to coordinate tasks such as carpentry, masonry work, plumbing integration, or structural modifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting scaffolding, ladders, and equipment regularly.

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects; familiarity with residential or commercial roofing systems is preferred.
• Skilled in using schematics for project planning and execution.
• Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication techniques relevant to roofing materials.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for cutting, fastening, and sealing roofing components.
• Knowledge of masonry, carpentry, plumbing or heavy lifting enhances versatility on complex projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions diligently.
• Physical stamina for performing heavy lifting tasks and working at heights in various weather conditions.
