FOREMAN AND JOURNEYMAN

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest safety standards. Duties

• Install and repair various roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying.
• Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install roofing materials.
• Conduct roofing repairs by replacing damaged sections, sealing leaks with caulking, and applying weatherproofing techniques.
• Ensure all work complies with construction safety harnesses protocols, ladder use guidelines, and construction workplace safety regulations.
• Assist with siding installation, stucco application, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and remodeling tasks as needed.
• Heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocol adherence at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety standards for outdoor work environments.

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair projects.
• Knowledge of roofing materials such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing (including standing seam), single-ply membranes, and tiles.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for accurate project execution.
• Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction safety harnesses use, ladder safety procedures, and general construction workplace safety regulations.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on diverse projects including siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, heavy lifting tasks, metal stud framing, remodeling jobs, and tile laying is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while following all safety protocols.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
