Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or membrane roofing.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
• Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently to cut, shape, and secure roofing components.
• Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues related to leaks, damage, or wear and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication and carpentry tasks related to roofing structures.
• Use welding skills for specialized metal roofing applications when required.
• Lift heavy materials safely while following proper safety protocols to prevent injuries.

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects or related trades such as carpentry or masonry.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and safety standards in construction environments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for roofing installation and repairs.
• Basic plumbing or masonry experience is a plus for integrated building systems or structural support work.
