Job Overview
Join a roofing team installing, repairing and maintaining roofs on construction projects. You’ll work outdoors and at height, using suitable tools and materials to complete work safely and to specification.
Duties
- Install, repair and replace roofing materials, preparing surfaces and checking finished work.
- Read schematics and follow project plans and site safety procedures.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape and secure materials.
- Support related construction tasks, including carpentry, fabrication, welding, plumbing or masonry, where relevant to the project.
- Your impact: Careful, well-finished roofing helps protect buildings from weather and gives occupants a safer, more comfortable space.
Qualifications
- Roofing or construction experience is useful; practical skills in carpentry, fabrication, welding, plumbing or masonry are welcome.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and interpret schematics.
- Comfortable working outdoors at height and carrying out heavy lifting, with safe working practices.
- Reliable, attentive to detail and able to work cooperatively on site.
Pay: £101.68-£271.68 per day
