Roofer / Roofing improver

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Roofing Operative an also a roofing improver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out roofing work to a high standard while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of roofing work, including repairs, maintenance, and new roof installations.
• Work with a variety of roofing materials and systems.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• 3+ years roofing experience preferred.
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with flat roofing, pitched roofing, leadwork, or roofline products.

Pay: £100.00-£300.00 per day
