Roofer/Labourer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various roofing projects, assisting with general construction tasks, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
• Reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
• Supporting fabrication and carpentry tasks related to roofing structures
• Handling heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assisting with masonry, plumbing, or welding tasks as required on-site
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to adhere to safety standards
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines
• Following health and safety regulations at all times during operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, roofing, or related trades is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of schematics, welding, hand tools, power tools, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and heavy lifting is desirable
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials regularly
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks throughout the day
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
