Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various materials and techniques.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks.
Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and alignment of roofing components.
Support other construction activities including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general labour tasks as needed.
Lift heavy materials safely and assist with material handling to ensure smooth workflow on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and uphold quality standards.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and roofing-specific equipment.
Basic understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and fabrication processes.
Experience in construction environments with exposure to roofing or related trades such as carpentry or masonry.
Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus for metal roofing or structural support work.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and manual labour tasks.
Familiarity with plumbing or masonry skills can be advantageous for integrated building projects.
Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and work effectively within a team environment.
