Duties

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing and cladding systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise application of materials.
• Operate welding equipment when necessary for metal fabrication or repairs.
• Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move materials such as metal panels, insulation, or roofing components.
• Support carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or fabrication tasks as required on site.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of construction work to prevent accidents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution.
• Experience with welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and measuring devices.
• Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and nail guns.
• Construction experience with roofing systems and cladding installation methods.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
• Knowledge of plumbing, masonry, carpentry or fabrication processes is a plus but not mandatory.
