Roofing Subcontractor Crew - New Construction & Re-Roof ProjectsPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Roofing Subcontractor Crew to perform residential and commercial roofing installations on both new construction and re-roof projects. The ideal crew will be capable of completing high-quality work efficiently while maintaining production schedules, safety standards, and jobsite cleanliness.

Production Requirement: Crew must be capable of completing a minimum of 20 squares (2,000 sq. ft.) of re-roof installation per day, including tear-off and installation, while maintaining quality workmanship.

Scope of Work Re-Roof Projects

• Complete tear-off of existing roofing materials.
• Inspect roof decking and report damaged sheathing.
• Install replacement decking as needed.
• Install ice and water shield, underlayment, drip edge, and flashing.
• Install asphalt shingles and roofing components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Install ridge vents and ventilation systems.
• Complete daily jobsite cleanup and final debris removal.
• Utilize magnetic sweeps to remove nails and metal debris.

New Construction Projects

• Install roofing systems on newly constructed homes and buildings.
• Install underlayment, flashing, ventilation, and roofing materials.
• Follow builder specifications and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion.

Gutter Installation

• Remove and dispose of existing gutters when applicable.
• Measure, fabricate, and install seamless gutters.
• Install downspouts, elbows, and drainage components.
• Ensure proper slope and water drainage.
• Maintain professional appearance and workmanship standards.

Crew Requirements

• Must provide experienced crew members with roofing installation experience.
• Must have all necessary roofing tools and equipment.
• Must maintain adequate transportation for crew and materials.
• Ability to consistently meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ability to read work orders, plans, and specifications.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.
• Must maintain clean and organized jobsites.

• Utilize proper fall protection equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment for crew members and customers.
• Report accidents, injuries, and property damage immediately.
