Roofing Estimator

Commercial Roofing Estimator – Commission Only

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator with proven knowledge of commercial bidding, takeoffs, estimating, and proposal preparation.

This is a commission-only position. There is no hourly pay, salary, or guaranteed base compensation. Compensation is based on successfully awarded or closed projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review plans, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform accurate roofing takeoffs
• Prepare competitive commercial roofing estimates and proposals
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Review addenda and update bids as needed
• Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and project managers
• Assist with bid follow-ups and change orders

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial roofing estimating and bidding experience required
• Strong blueprint reading and takeoff skills
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, modified bitumen, metal roofing, coatings, and insulation
• Experience with Roofr.
• Strong understanding of labor, material costs, margins, and commercial bidding
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids

This position is ideal for an experienced commercial roofing estimator who is comfortable working on a 100% commission basis and has the ability to prepare accurate, profitable commercial bids.
