We are seeking skilled and dedicated roofers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and rough carpentry work. As a roofer with Yancey, you will be responsible for transforming homes according to the contract and building codes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

We are a reputable family-owned General Contractor, operating since 1939.

• This is not a training opportunity. You must have proven roofing experience. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are a must. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members is imperative.

Position Requirements:

• 5 years of proven experience in roofing including Verifiable work experience and references.
• Reliable transportation and your own tools.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure quality standards are met.
• Capable of working independently on all aspects of roofing, from start to finish.
• Execute your skills in roofing and light carpentry work.
• Punctual, reliable, able to collect payments, read and execute contracts, provide customer service, and deliver a high-quality finished product.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts and plans, and complete the necessary work to meet project requirements.
• Manage construction timelines and ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Utilize hand and power tools for roofing tasks, including pneumatic and power tools
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct construction site assessments and maintain safety standards throughout the project.
• Estimate material needs.
• Monday – Friday work schedule.
• Hourly compensation with weekly pay.
