Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure roofing components.
• Set up ladders and scaffolding following proper safety protocols to access rooftops securely.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Support with siding installation, stucco work, drywall finishing, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed for comprehensive exterior renovations.
• Follow construction safety harness protocols and adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations during outdoor work.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks and material fabrication to ensure timely project progress while maintaining safety standards.

Skills

• Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and materials.
• Proficiency with construction workplace safety regulations and the use of safety harnesses on roofs.
• Skilled in ladder use, scaffolding setup, and working at heights with proper fall protection measures.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery used in roofing and general construction.
• Knowledge of roofing repair techniques including metal roofing, single-ply membrane systems, and restoration projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
• Experience with siding installation, stucco application, tile laying, masonry work, drywall finishing, caulking techniques, framing carpentry (including metal stud framing), concrete forming, fabrication processes, remodeling projects, handyman tasks, and masonry work enhances versatility on-site.
• Outdoor work experience is essential for adapting to varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
