Roofing Labourer

EDMONTON, AB · FULL-TIME · COMPETITIVE ENTRY-LEVEL WAGE

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in roofing. As a Roofing Labourer at Iron Shield, you’ll work alongside our experienced installation crews and receive hands-on training in flat, commercial, and metal roofing systems. No experience necessary — just a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist installers with material handling, preparation, and site clean-up
• Load and unload roofing materials on site and on rooftops
• Support the crew with daily tasks as directed by the foreman
• Follow all Alberta OHS site safety rules and participate in safety orientations
• Learn roofing techniques and systems through structured on-the-job training

QUALIFICATIONS

• No prior roofing experience required — we will train the right person
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine willingness to learn
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and outdoors
• Valid Alberta driver’s license is an asset
