Roofing Operational Manager

The company is one of the pioneers of Roof & Cladding Specialist is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operational Manager to lead operational and project teams. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth project execution, efficient resource management and timely delivery of roofing projects.

Role

A roofing operations manager directs all daily field work, project scheduling, and team management to ensure roofing jobs finish safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall daily operations and project activities.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project schedules and progress.
• Lead and manage project teams, site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to required quality standards.
• Monitor project costs, material usage and operational expenses.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal departments.
• Resolve operational and site-related issues efficiently.
• Improve operational processes, productivity and resource utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance and ensure operational KPIs are achieved.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in construction, roofing or related industries.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and operational teams.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
