What they need
Title: Operations Manager - Repairs
Reports to: Director of Field Operations
About Perry's Roofing
At Perry's Roofing, we've built our reputation in Westchester County on quality craftsmanship, reliability, and honest customer service. As a close-knit team of professionals, we don't treat our team members like a number — everyone here directly impacts our growth. We are expanding our footprint and looking for an experienced, results-driven Field Sales Representative to meet with homeowners and property owners, inspect their roofs, and close deals on roof replacements, repairs, and related exterior projects.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager - Repairs leads day-to-day operations for Perry’s Roofing’s Repair line of work, owning jobs from proposal signature through closeout. Key accountabilities include overseeing scheduling, material coordination, crew assignments, CRM pipeline management, customer communications, and holding repair backlog, turnaround time, and callbacks on target. Additionally, this role supports the Director of Field Operations with roof replacement operations and subcontractor invoicing. As a hands-on leadership position, the individual must be organized, proactive, decisive, and detail-oriented to direct subcontracted repair crews effectively. They will utilize and refine CRM and operational systems to ensure scheduling accuracy, pipeline visibility, process discipline, and clear alignment between the office, field, subcontractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations for the Repair division, managing jobs from proposal signature through completion and holding repair backlog, turnaround time, and callbacks on target.
- Build, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly repair, warranty, and punch-list schedules while coordinating material deliveries, pickups, permits, site access, and dumpsters ahead of crew dispatch.
- Assign and direct subcontracted repair crews based on scope, capacity, location, and expertise, setting clear job expectations and reviewing daily field activity and photo documentation.
- Actively manage and update AccuLynx CRM repair pipelines, ensuring accurate labor start dates, automated customer notifications, prompt document uploads, and timely resolution of stalled jobs.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison for repair customers and subcontractors, proactively communicating schedule adjustments, weather delays, and technical scope requirements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)—including backlog, turnaround times, rework rates, and crew capacity—to identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements.
- Support the Director of Field Operations with roof replacement production scheduling, subcontractor invoice verification against agreed pricing, and warranty/permit closeouts.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in operations, scheduling, construction, or field service management (roofing experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to direct subcontracted crews, manage customer expectations, and handle escalations professionally.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (AccuLynx preferred), scheduling software, and Microsoft Office / Excel for reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and high accountability for data integrity and system SOPs.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are required.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
- Collaborative team environment with direct visibility and impact on company growth.
- Medical, Dental, Vision, and Retirement Plans available.
- Comprehensive support and resources to manage and refine operational systems.
