What they need

Production Coordinator — Roofing

Arizona Roofers, LLC Phoenix, AZ 85008 (on-site) Full-time

$70,000 – $85,000 per year

About this role

If you've worked in roofing production, you know how much rides on the details before a crew ever pulls up — the right materials, the right colors, a job file that's actually complete. Protecting that is what this role is for.

Arizona Roofers is a GAF Master Elite, Polyglass Certified, and ASC Certified contractor (ROC #356304) working across residential, commercial, and insurance restoration throughout the Valley. Our Production Coordinator keeps jobs organized, crews supported, and customers informed. We have written SOPs, an experienced production team, and a leadership group that would rather hear about a broken process than find out about it later.

If you enjoy bringing order to a lot of moving parts, we'd like to talk with you.

What you'll do

Get jobs ready before installation

  • Review job files, contracts, measurements, supplements, photos, material selection forms, pre-liens, and scopes of work for accuracy before scheduling.
  • Prepare work orders with the correct materials, colors, quantities, and the job-specific notes crews rely on.
  • Confirm permits, HOA requirements, solar detach/reset, and special-order items ahead of the start date.

Own the schedule

  • Schedule installations, repairs, and warranty work.
  • Match crews and project managers to jobs based on job type, location, and workload.
  • Adjust the calendar when weather, material delays, or customer requests call for it — and keep everyone in the loop.

Order materials accurately

  • Order shingles, underlayment, metals, vents, drip edge, fasteners, paint, and job-specific accessories.
  • Check every order against the scope and the work order. Catching a shortage or a wrong color before delivery is one of the most valuable things you'll do here.
  • Coordinate deliveries with suppliers so materials are staged before crews arrive.
  • Help resolve shortages, returns, and additional material requests.

Support the production team

  • Help project managers, production managers, and crews with questions on scope, work orders, materials, and scheduling.
  • Communicate delays, issues, and change-order needs early.
  • Help coordinate final inspections, punch items, and customer follow-up.
  • Flag discrepancies in labor, material quantities, or scope.
  • Keep documentation current in our system — notes, photos, invoices, and completion details.

What we're looking for

  • Roofing experience. This is the one thing we can't teach on the job, and it's what will make you effective from week one.
  • 3-5+ years coordinating. Production coordination, project coordination, scheduling, or dispatch in roofing or construction.
  • Care for the details. The difference between the right color and a close-enough color is a callback. You'll be the person who catches it.
  • Steadiness. Weather shifts, crews call out, suppliers miss deliveries. We're looking for someone who reschedules calmly and keeps people informed.
  • Clear communication. Crews, subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, and homeowners each need something a little different from you.
  • Willingness to learn our systems. You don't need to be technical — just comfortable picking up software and keeping records accurate.

You might be a great fit if you've been…

  • A production or project coordinator at a roofing or construction company
  • An inside sales or counter rep at a roofing supply house (ABC, Beacon, SRS, or similar) — you already know materials
  • A crew lead or foreman looking to move into an office role
  • A project manager's assistant, warehouse lead, or an estimator's right hand
  • An insurance restoration coordinator with roofing scope experience

Pay, benefits, and schedule

  • Pay: $70,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on your roofing background and coordination experience.
  • Overtime: Paid. Storm season brings longer weeks. We track hours and pay time-and-a-half over 40.
  • Benefits: [INSERT — medical / dental / vision / PTO / paid holidays
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, on-site at 4836 E. McDowell Rd., Suite C100, Phoenix, AZ 85008. Occasional longer days and weekends during storm and monsoon season.
  • Growth: This role sits at the center of production, and you'll see how every part of the company fits together. Several paths open up from this seat.

How to apply

Apply through Indeed. If you'd like, tell us in a sentence or two about a material or scheduling problem you caught before it became a bigger one. We read them.
