Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and organized Residential Roofing Project Manager to oversee roofing projects from the initial customer consultation through final completion. This position focuses primarily on residential insurance restoration, working with homeowners, insurance carriers, adjusters, suppliers, and roofing crews to ensure projects are completed professionally, efficiently, and according to contract and insurance requirements.

The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with homeowners, managing multiple projects, reviewing insurance estimates, coordinating crews, and keeping projects moving from approval to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential roofing projects from start to finish.
• Meet with homeowners to inspect roofing and exterior damage.
• Work with homeowners throughout the insurance claims process.
• Review insurance scopes, estimates, supplements, and change orders.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters and insurance representatives when necessary.
• Coordinate roofing crews, materials, deliveries, inspections, and project schedules.
• Ensure proper materials are ordered and available before projects begin.
• Perform or coordinate pre-production and final inspections.
• Maintain consistent communication with homeowners regarding project timelines and progress.
• Identify additional storm-related damage and document it appropriately for potential supplements.
• Take accurate measurements, photos, and project documentation.
• Ensure completed work meets company quality standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes.
• Resolve customer concerns and address issues throughout the project.
• Maintain accurate project records and update customers and management on project status.
• Assist with collecting project payments and completing final documentation.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners, insurance professionals, vendors, and crews.

Qualifications

• Previous roofing, construction, insurance restoration, or project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of residential roofing systems and installation practices.
• Understanding of residential insurance claims and restoration processes.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to read and understand insurance estimates and roofing scopes of work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use a smartphone, email, estimating software, and other project-management tools.
• Ability to climb ladders, inspect roofs, and work outdoors when necessary.

Compensation
