Due to continued growth within our Roofing Division, we are seeking an experienced Roofing Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional site-based Project Manager role.

This is a roving position responsible for inspecting, scoping, estimating and overseeing multiple roofing projects across Queensland and New South Wales. Rather than being assigned to a single project or site, you will support the broader roofing program by identifying opportunities, developing scopes of work, preparing quotations and assisting with successful project delivery.

Reporting to the National Roofing Manager, you will work closely with clients, subcontractors, supervisors and internal stakeholders to help convert opportunities into completed projects.

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing scopes of work, preparing quotations and helping convert enquiries into successfully delivered projects.

Regular travel throughout Queensland and New South Wales will form part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct roof inspections and condition assessments.
• Identify roofing defects, water ingress issues and remedial requirements.
• Perform water testing and diagnostic investigations where required.
• Prepare condition reports, defect reports and scope-of-work documentation.
• Estimate and price remedial roofing projects accurately.
• Assess project risks, latent conditions and potential cost impacts.
• Prepare quotations, variations and supporting documentation.
• Assist with project planning, mobilisation and sequencing.
• Provide oversight across multiple projects to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend client meetings and site inspections as required.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and progress against agreed objectives.
• Support business development opportunities and maintain client relationships.
• Work collaboratively with the National Roofing Manager to convert a growing pipeline of opportunities into completed works.

How This Role Works

This role focuses on inspections, estimating, planning and delivery oversight.

Day-to-day site supervision is generally undertaken by Supervisors, leading hands and subcontractors, allowing you to focus on the broader program of works across multiple projects and locations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience within commercial, remedial or industrial roofing.
• Roofing trade qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience estimating roofing or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, defect diagnosis and repair methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional client-facing skills and commercial awareness.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Working at Heights certification.
• Any additional roofing, waterproofing or construction-related licences and qualifications will be highly regarded.
