Roofing Sales Advisor

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven, and customer-focused Roofing Sales Consultant to conduct free roof inspections and provide in-home sales consultations. This is a field-based position that does not require daily office attendance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting homeowners, inspecting roofs, explaining available solutions, preparing proposals, and guiding customers through the sales process.

Although this role is primarily performed in the field, attendance at scheduled company meetings, sales meetings, and training sessions is required.

Duties

• Travel to homeowners’ properties to conduct scheduled free roof inspections.
• Inspect roofs and exterior areas for visible damage, wear, leaks, and potential replacement needs.
• Meet with homeowners and provide professional in-home sales presentations.
• Explain inspection findings, roofing options, warranties, pricing, financing programs, and the installation process.
• Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals based on the homeowner’s needs.
• Follow up with leads and prospective customers by phone, text, and email.
• Build trust with homeowners and guide them through the decision-making process.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurately update customer information in the company CRM.
• Meet or exceed individual appointment, closing, and revenue goals.
• Take photos, measurements, notes, and other necessary documentation during inspections.
• Ensure all contracts and customer documents are completed accurately.
• Coordinate with the production and office teams to provide a smooth transition after the sale.
• Represent the company professionally while working in customers’ homes and neighborhoods.
• Attend all required sales meetings, company meetings, coaching sessions, and training programs.
• Stay informed about roofing materials, company services, financing options, and industry best practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in roofing, construction, home improvement, outside sales, or in-home sales is preferred.
• Experience is helpful but not required for motivated candidates who are willing to learn.
• Comfortable speaking with homeowners and conducting face-to-face sales presentations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to inspect roofs safely and work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing appointments and follow-ups without daily office supervision.
• Ability to explain roofing recommendations, pricing, financing, and contracts clearly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone, CRM platform, email, and basic sales technology.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be available to attend all required meetings and training sessions.

Pay: $10,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month
