Job Summary

Forest Construction NC LLC is seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Representative who is fluent in English and Spanish. This role includes selling and estimating roofing repairs and replacements, as well as general outdoor construction projects and other exterior improvements. The ideal candidate can assess project needs, prepare accurate estimates, build strong client relationships, and guide customers from the initial consultation through a signed agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow-up with company-provided leads.
• Conduct property visits to discuss client needs, budgets, preferences, and timelines.
• Take measurements, document site conditions, and gather information for roofing and general outdoor construction estimates.
• Coordinate technical assessments with qualified personnel when needed.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, labor, demolition, disposal, equipment, and other project costs.
• Present proposals and explain materials, project scope, pricing, warranties, and payment terms.
• Follow up with clients, address questions, and secure signed agreements.
• Maintain accurate client records, estimates, and sales activity in the company’s customer management system.
• Coordinate project handoffs with project managers and installation crews.
• Communicate professionally in English and Spanish with clients and team members.
• Meet established sales goals and provide regular updates on leads and pending proposals.

Qualifications

• Previous roofing sales and estimating experience required.
• Experience estimating and selling general outdoor construction projects.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish required, with advanced Spanish proficiency.
• Working knowledge of roofing systems, construction materials, installation methods, and project costs.
• Ability to read basic plans, take accurate measurements, and prepare detailed proposals.
• Strong communication, negotiation, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, follow up consistently, and work independently.
• Comfortable using estimating software, customer management systems, email, and basic office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the service area.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.

Work Environment

This position combines office work with local travel, client consultations, and visits to active roofing and outdoor construction job sites. Fieldwork involves varying weather conditions, walking on uneven terrain, and taking property measurements. Any ladder use or roof access requires appropriate training and equipment and must follow company safety procedures. The representative will work closely with management, project managers, and field crews. Professional appearance, punctuality, and clear communication are expected.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Commission

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
