Roofing Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Supervisor to lead and oversee roofing projects on day of installation. In this vital role, you will coordinate teams, manage safety protocols, confirm material accuracy and ensure high-quality craftsmanship on every project. Your expertise in construction, roofing and crew supervision will drive project success while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and quality work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality and efficiency of roofing operations across diverse residential construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise roofing crews, ensuring efficient workflow, safety compliance, and quality standards are met throughout each project phase
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and communicate specifications to teams (as needed)
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials such as roofing membranes, flashing, and insulation
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce OSHA standards, and implement construction safety management practices
• Lead construction site meetings to review progress, address issues promptly, and maintain clear communication
• Ensure quality control by inspecting work for adherence to building codes, construction regulations, and client specifications
• Document the roofing process by taking detailed images throughout the installation process. Upload images to company CRM
• Manage team performance through effective crew management, training on safety procedures, and fostering a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising roofing projects within residential or heavy civil construction environments
• Extensive understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations is helpful
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics with precision is helpful
• Demonstrated skill in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent managerial communication skills
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes
• Hands-on experience with construction site safety practices including OSHA compliance and construction safety management systems
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise multiple crews while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
