Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment
• Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces with proper chemicals and tools
• Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas by sweeping, mopping floors, window cleaning, and pressure washing outdoor surfaces as needed
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning tasks to ensure safety and infection control standards are met
• Operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, pressure washers, and chemical sprayers
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture repositioning while adhering to manual handling safety protocols
• Follow all sanitation procedures meticulously to prevent the spread of infection and maintain high hygiene standards in all areas

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and pressure washing
• Experience with chemical handling and safe use of cleaning agents required
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sanitation standards in hospitality settings
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment confidently while maintaining safety protocols
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks effectively

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
