Room Attendant

Job Summary

RedEye Diner is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Dining Room Attendant to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for guests. This role supports table service operations by clearing and resetting tables, assisting guests, restocking supplies, maintaining dining areas, and supporting restaurant staff during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance when needed.
• Clear used dishes, glasses, utensils, and other items from dining tables promptly.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and dining surfaces between guests.
• Reset tables with clean utensils, napkins, menus, and other required items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining areas throughout each shift.
• Assist guests with routine requests and direct questions or concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Support servers, hosts, and other restaurant staff during busy service periods.
• Restock napkins, utensils, menus, condiments, beverages, and other dining room supplies.
• Keep service stations, counters, and guest areas clean and organized.
• Assist with delivering food and beverages to tables when assigned.
• Help maintain clear and safe walkways throughout the dining room.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle dishes, glassware, restaurant equipment, and supplies carefully.
• Communicate supply needs, maintenance concerns, spills, or safety issues to supervisors.
• Assist with basic cleaning tasks in dining and guest service areas.
• Help maintain a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Support coworkers and contribute to efficient restaurant operations throughout each shift.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
• Perform other dining room and restaurant support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, dining room, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to learn restaurant service and dining room procedures.
• Ability to follow sanitation, cleanliness, and safety guidelines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing hands-on restaurant tasks.
• Ability to safely carry and organize dishes, supplies, and dining room materials.
• Ability to remain courteous and professional during busy service periods.

About RedEye Diner

RedEye Diner provides a welcoming dining environment focused on friendly hospitality, quality food service, attentive guest support, and efficient restaurant operations. The team works together to maintain clean, organized, and comfortable dining areas for every guest.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
