Join our team at Unicorn Zebra as a flexible part-time room attendant, taking care of our upscale boutique hotel's high cleanliness standards. Job available between October and May. Additional part time work can be made available for anybody eager to learn more about hospitality.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
• Manage chemical agent handling safely by following proper procedures for storage, usage, and disposal to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring in all areas.
• Assist with sanitation of public spaces like lobbies, hallways, and restrooms by applying janitorial best practices and custodial experience.
• Use cleaning equipment efficiently and perform heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or supplies safely during room turnover or maintenance tasks.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols diligently to respond effectively in any incident or safety concern.
• Engage with hotel guests when in common areas with professionalism. Assist guests with queries/help accessing guest rooms etc.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
