Room Leader- Diploma Educator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily program in your room and create a warm, safe, play-based environment where every child feels a sense of belonging
• Plan, document and critically reflect on learning in line with the EYLF V2.0 and the NQS
• Mentor and guide your room team, setting the tone for teamwork, respect and high standards
• Build genuine partnerships with families through daily connection, feedback and shared goals for their child
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
• Observe and document children's development
• Maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Working with Children Check
• Mandatory Geccko Training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF & NQF with the ability to implement these into the Centre's educational program
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• At least 1+ years experience within an early childhood education setting preferred
