Room Service Waiter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role requires a passion for the food industry and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Ensure timely delivery of meals to guests while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal preparation and service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and meal preparation techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
