Rooms Inspector

**Job Summary:**
The Rooms Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall quality of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel or resort. They will inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and proper amenities setup to meet the standards set by the establishment.

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or training in hospitality management is a plus
• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a hotel setting
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and report findings accurately
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation guidelines, and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing

**Responsibilities:**

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and compliance with established standards
• Identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and other concerns and report them to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
• Monitor housekeeping staff to ensure they are following correct procedures and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to prioritize and address identified issues
• Assist in training new housekeeping staff on cleanliness standards, procedures, and protocols
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records for reference and follow-up purposes
• Provide feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff to improve performance and maintain quality standards throughout the property
