Job Description

We are looking for a Rope Access Technician – Level 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with rope access operations and work safely at height while carrying out assigned maintenance, inspection, installation, and other technical tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• IRATA Level 1 certification or an equivalent recognised rope access qualification.
• Valid applicable medical screening/fitness-to-work-at-height medical certificate.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in challenging environments.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual work.
• Strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rope access work under the supervision of senior rope access technicians.
• Assist with maintenance, inspections, installations, cleaning, repairs, and other work at height.
• Correctly use rope access equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct pre-use checks of equipment and report any defects or concerns.
• Follow all site-specific health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and senior technicians.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime depending on operational requirements.

Pay: R70,50 - R73,50 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 50.0 per week
