ROPE ACCESS TECHNICIAN SERVICES

Job Purpose

Provide safe, technically competent rope-access support for inspection, maintenance, NDT, coating, welding or specialist access activities at height or in difficult-to-reach locations.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and execute rope-access tasks in accordance with approved procedures and access plans.

· Inspect ropes, harnesses, anchors, connectors and other access equipment before use.

· Support inspection, NDT, coating, welding, repair or specialist activities while maintaining safe positioning.

· Establish exclusion zones and maintain effective communication with the work team.

· Record work completed, defects identified, measurements and equipment status.

· Participate in rescue planning, toolbox talks, risk assessments and permit-to-work controls.

Skills & Competencies

· IRATA/recognized rope-access competence appropriate to the role

· Working-at-height and rescue awareness

· Good understanding of inspection/maintenance activities relevant to the assignment

· Strong HSE discipline and physical fitness for the work environment

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognized professional certification appropriate to the discipline and level. Relevant industrial, construction, oil & gas, marine or project experience is preferred. Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications shall be provided where required by the client, site or applicable standards.

Pay: ₦240,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per day
