ROS Developer Jobs

ROS Developer Jobs (Remote, Full Time) Design, build, and deploy ROS/ROS2 software that powers autonomous logistics robots across warehouses and fulfillment centers. You will ship production-grade autonomy from simulation to real robots, collaborating in a remote-first environment.

What You Will Do

• Build ROS2 packages, nodes, launch files, and diagnostics for robot bring-up and autonomy
• Implement and tune navigation stack components (costmaps, planners, recovery behaviors) for warehouse environments
• Develop SLAM/localization workflows using LiDAR/vision and manage maps
• Integrate sensors and drivers; ensure accurate TF frames, timestamps, and calibration
• Create and validate simulation scenarios in Gazebo/Ignition with repeatable test runs
• Improve observability using logs, metrics, and rosbag workflows to debug field issues
• Follow best practices: code review, versioning, CI/CD, and structured releases

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience with ROS or ROS2 in robotics software development
• Strong C++ and Python skills
• Hands-on knowledge of SLAM, localization, and navigation concepts
• Experience with URDF, TF2, RViz, and rosbag
• Comfort with Linux and Git-based collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying AMRs/AGVs in logistics or industrial environments
• Perception and sensor fusion experience (e.g., OpenCV/PCL)
• Docker-based deployment and automated testing for robotics

Compensation Competitive hourly rate: $30–$50/hr (based on experience).
