This is an opportunity to join a growing division and play a critical role in operational leadership, client engagement and business growth.

Warrikal is a dynamic, majority Aboriginal-owned, and operated business that has rapidly emerged as a formidable force in the resources and mining sector of WA. The company has established itself as a leading provider of maintenance, shutdown, and specialised project services, cementing its reputation as a trusted and efficient provider.

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Precision Superintendent to lead the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of shutdown, maintenance and precision execution activities across our client sites.

Reporting to the Precision Manager, you will provide leadership to Supervisors, Leading Hands and trades personnel, ensuring work is safely executed to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations. As a key operational leader, you will be responsible for planning, resourcing and executing shutdown and maintenance activities while driving continuous improvement, developing leadership capability and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shutdown, maintenance and precision execution activities across multiple work fronts and operational sites.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, mobilisation, labour, equipment and resource requirements.
  • Ensure operational readiness through effective planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, permits and isolation requirements.
  • Manage productivity, quality, schedule adherence and operational performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop Supervisors, Leading Hands and operational teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Lead incident management, investigations and corrective actions where required.
  • Drive operational performance against budget, productivity and utilisation targets.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, profitability and client outcomes.
  • Support forecasting, reporting and resource planning activities.

About You
You are a hands-on operational leader with extensive experience in rotating and conveyor maintenance, fixed plant maintenance, and shutdown execution. You lead from the front, build strong client relationships, develop high performing teams and consistently deliver safe, productive and commercially successful outcomes.

  • Eligible to work in Australia.
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Fixed Plant Maintenance or a related discipline.
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification (required).
  • Demonstrated experience in a Superintendent, Supervisor or similar leadership position within mining, shutdowns, maintenance or project delivery environments.
  • Strong background in rotating and conveyor maintenance, fixed plant maintenance, and shutdown execution.
  • SME level experience with rotating equipment and alignments (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large maintenance and shutdown workforces across multiple work fronts.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors, resources and competing priorities in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSEQ requirements, permits, isolations and risk management processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance safety, productivity, schedule and budget outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a growth mindset and a genuine drive for continuous improvement and developing others.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Why Warrikal

  • Work with a growing and innovative WA-owned business.
  • Influence the development and growth of a rapidly expanding Precision division.
  • Access genuine career progression opportunities into senior operational leadership roles.
