What they need
Take control of your roster. Take control of your career.
Micway Transport is a fast-paced, temperature-controlled logistics operation, and we're looking for a Day Shift Transport Supervisor who thrives on leading teams, solving problems on the fly, and keeping cold chain freight moving safely and on time. If you want genuine work-life balance without stepping back from responsibility, this role is built for you
Why You'll Want This Role
- 4 days on, 4 days off — more time off than a standard week, every single week
- $110,000 per year
- 5 weeks of annual leave — because everyone needs proper time to recharge
- 12-hour shifts (6:00am–6:00pm) with consistent, predictable rotations
- Join a business that only closes twice a year — Christmas Day and Good Friday — so you're always part of an operation that matters
What You'll Own
- Leading and coordinating a team of drivers and loaders
- Allocating and scheduling drivers to keep deliveries efficient and on time
- Overseeing warehouse operations and loader performance
- Managing fleet movements in the yard and to/from the maintenance shed or alternate sites
- Championing safety and compliance culture across every shift
- Reporting daily operational updates to senior management, giving you real visibility and influence
What You Bring
- Proven supervisory experience in transport or logistics
- Strong, hands-on leadership and people management skills
- Comfort and consistency working a rotating roster
- Solid Excel and analytical skills — you're the person who trusts the numbers
- A current HC or MC driver's licence (desirable)
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS legislation
- Familiarity with HACCP and NSW Food Safety requirements
- Fatigue management experience, or hold (or be working toward) TLIF0006 – Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System
Highly regarded: supervisory experience in retail or food delivery transport operations, particularly with major supermarket chains.
Ready to Apply?
We just need a few things from you:
- Your resume
- A copy of your Full RMS Driving History, issued within the last 3 months if you hold a heavy vehicle licence
- National Police Check
- VEVO Confirmation of work rights, if applicable
Hit Apply, or send documents directly to [email protected]
Please note: Micway operates 24/7 and observes block-out periods across NSW holiday seasons. 2026/2027 block-out dates will be confirmed with successful candidates.
