Job Summary

Xcel Delivery Services is hiring a Route Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently transport packages, products, and customer orders along assigned routes. This role is responsible for completing scheduled deliveries, handling shipments carefully, maintaining accurate delivery records, and providing dependable customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles on assigned delivery routes
• Pick up and deliver packages and products according to scheduled routes
• Load, unload, and organize shipments safely and efficiently
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer confirmations when required
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery issues
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
• Provide courteous and professional customer service
• Perform additional delivery and transportation duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous delivery, courier, transportation, or logistics experience is an asset but not required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages safely
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience with local or regional route delivery
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities

Pay: $18.30 - $21.47 per hour

Work Location: In person
