Route Delivery Driver

THE MISSION:
Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Route Delivery Driver dispatches daily and ensures safe, accurate and efficient transportation of Gallagher Tire, Inc. product and service offerings to a wide range of dealer partners within the company’s geographic delivery footprint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safe and timely transportation of products assigned to designated routes Learn and utilize all company technology associated with routing and order delivery
• Maintain clean and organized proof of delivery records per route
• Ensure delivery location and item accuracy
• Efficient recovery of return items when necessary
• Maintain clean and organized assigned delivery vehicle
• Professional, courteous interaction with dealer-partners

KEY REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Minimum one to three years’ DOT-certified "box truck" driving experience
• Must possess current DOT Medical Card
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening
• Consent to motor vehicle records and criminal background search
• Be physically fit to a degree you can lift and maneuver various items for delivery without difficulty (in some cases, item weight greater than 50 lbs.)
• Value customer service
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment
• Exhibits strong attention to detail, initiative, critical thinking, and leadership skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
