Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products along designated routes.
• Manage route schedules efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining high safety standards.
• Conduct heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Build lasting customer relationships through friendly communication, addressing client needs, and providing excellent customer service.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to maximize client satisfaction.
• Perform merchandising tasks such as organizing displays and ensuring products are presented appealingly at customer locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pricing adjustments, and route logs; communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to traffic laws.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with route driving, retail store environments, or customer relationship building is highly desirable.
• Strong math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and inventory adjustments.
• Demonstrated ability in sales or upselling techniques within a retail or service setting.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle merchandise efficiently; organizational skills to manage route schedules effectively.

Pay: $43,200.00 - $60,000.00 per year
