Position Summary

Loren's Sanitation is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Route Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently servicing residential and commercial customers while delivering excellent customer service.

This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the opportunity for overtime during busy periods.

Monday-Friday

Typical hours: 5:45 AM - 2:00 PM

Some overtime as business needs require

What You'll Do

Safely operate an automated side-load garbage truck on assigned residential routes.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required DVIR documentation.

Service residential customers efficiently while following all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing Loren's Sanitation.

Cover commercial front-load routes when needed due to vacations, staffing, or operational demands.

Report safety concerns, vehicle issues, route obstacles, and customer concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate route completion and required documentation.

Keep equipment clean and report maintenance needs immediately.

Work as part of a team to ensure routes are completed safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Class A welcomed).

Clean driving record with an excellent safety history.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.

Previous refuse or commercial driving experience preferred but not required.

Front-load experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and management.

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely enter and exit the truck throughout the day.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to perform repetitive driving and operating tasks throughout the shift.
