Route Driver Position summary: The Driver will operate a vehicle equipped to provide transport of electronic devices safely and timely to all the companies needs. The Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another.

Route Driver Position Responsibilities:

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
• Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up and delivers devices along the scheduled route, including inter-company transfers, items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintains basic records of vehicle mileage and deliveries made.
• Build strong professional relationships with customers at each pick-up and drop-off location
• Ensures and communicates that the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports all service needs and mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Presents a professional image which represents the K12 Tech Brand
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Ability to drive safely.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Able to be insured through companies vehicle insurance plan

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Reporting To This Position: No direct reports

Physical demands and work environment:

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work for prolonged periods longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs in various types of weather.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
