Route Driver/Warehouse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Route Box Truck Driver to join our logistics and delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a box truck to deliver products to customer locations along a designated route, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a box truck in a safe and responsible manner.
• Deliver products to customers on an established route.
• Load and unload truck using proper safety procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of delivery contents and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain delivery logs and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Adhere to company policies, DOT regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Provide professional, courteous service and resolve minor customer issues or escalate as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not typically required but preferred).
• Clean driving record with 1–2 years of experience driving box trucks preferred.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to [50–75 lbs], bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

• Hours may vary; early morning starts and occasional overtime may be required.
• Work is performed in all weather conditions.
• Frequent driving, lifting, and loading/unloading.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160.00 - $300.00 per day
