Route Planner

I. JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing transportation routes to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of goods. The role involves analyzing logistics data, coordinating with drivers and warehouse teams, and improving route efficiency while meeting customer service requirements.

II. SIZE OF RESPONSIBILITY

A. Reporting To: Logistics & FG Warehouse Asst. Manager and Manager

III. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Plan and optimize daily delivery and transportation routes.

B. Monitor vehicle schedules and ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.

C. Analyze traffic patterns, delivery locations, and transportation costs to improve route efficiency.

D. Adjust routes in response to traffic conditions, and customer requirements.

E. Compute and improve logistics cost.

F. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

G. Track route performance metrics such as delivery time, fuel consumption, and vehicle utilization.

H. Communicate route changes

I. Prepare reports and recommend continuous improvements to logistics operations.

IV. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Follow instructions from the Logistics & FG Warehouse Supervisor and Manage

V. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

A. College Graduate of Industrial Engineering or BS Management Accounting

B. At least 1 to 2 years of experience in Logistics and Transport Operation

C. With supply chain management or food industry experience, an advantage

D. Knowledgeable in SAP

E. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

F. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

G. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

H. Knowledgeable in route optimization
