Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks and vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Manage merchandise loading, unloading, and merchandising at retail stores, ensuring proper presentation and stock levels.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel through effective client communication and excellent customer service.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and offering suitable solutions to increase sales volume.
• Use organizational skills to plan efficient routes, track deliveries, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pricing strategies and basic math for accurate transactions and inventory management.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices regularly.
• Prior retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus.
• Knowledge of route driving, upselling techniques, and customer relationship building.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, heavy lifting procedures, and automobile transportation standards.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, deliveries, and documentation efficiently.

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
