Routing Specialist - 2nd Shift

Schedule: Full-time (2nd Shift), Monday through Friday, 5:00pm - 1:30am with overtime as needed.

Work Arrangement: 100 % onsite (this is not a remote position)

What You'll Do

As a Routing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our transportation operations by:

• Planning and optimizing daily delivery routes for Class A drivers
• Sequencing stops to maximize efficiency and service performance
• Coordinating closely with drivers, warehouse teams, customer service, and sales
• Monitoring route progress and responding to operational challenges
• Adjusting routes based on volume, customer needs, traffic, equipment availability, and staffing changes
• Preparing route manifests, delivery documentation, and special instructions
• Maintaining accurate routing and delivery information within company systems
• Identifying opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and route performance
• Supporting transportation compliance and operational best practices

What We're Looking For

• Experience in route planning, dispatch, logistics, transportation coordination, or related operations
• Experience working directly with drivers and supporting delivery operations
• Strong geographic knowledge and route-planning skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Class A tractor-trailer operations
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, paper, packaging, or similar industries
• Familiarity with routing, dispatch, GPS, or transportation management systems (Roadnet is highly preferred)
• Understanding of DOT transportation requirements and Hours of Service regulations
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour
