ROV Data Processing Manager

• Degree in Marine Technology, Geomatics, Ocean Engineering, or related field
• Expertise in ROV data processing software (e.g., Coda Octopus, EIVA, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or equivalent)
• Experience 8–12 years in ROV operations and/or subsea survey data processing; 3+ years in supervisory role
• IMCA competency framework awareness; offshore safety training (BOSIET/HUET) if offshore-deployed; client specific data management certifications advantageous
• Manage the ROV data processing function, overseeing the quality, integrity, and timely delivery of all ROV acquired data products including video, sonar, positioning, and inspection data across multiple concurrent projects.
• Leads the data processing team, sets quality standards, and is the technical point of accountability for processed data deliverables submitted to clients.
• Lead and manage the ROV data processing team, assigning workloads, setting standards, and overseeing output quality across all active projects
• Oversee processing and QC of ROV-acquired data including inspection video, sonar imagery, pipeline and structure positioning, and CP data
• Establish and maintain data processing workflows, software standards, and quality control procedures
• Manage data deliverable schedules ensuring timely submission of processed products to clients and project teams
• Liaise with ROV supervisors, survey teams, and project managers to align data requirements with acquisition and processing timelines
• Review and approve final data deliverables including inspection reports, GIS datasets, and client-specific data formats
• Manage software licensing, hardware infrastructure, and system capability for data processing operations
• Support client meetings and technical presentations on data processing methodology, quality, and deliverables
• Mentor and develop data processing personnel, identifying training needs and competency development opportunities
