Roving Merchandiser

About the role

Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking a talented Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are effectively displayed and presented to customers, driving sales and enhancing our brand's visibility.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to showcase our products in the best possible light
• Collaborate with store management to optimise product placement and ensure compliance with brand guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to maintain optimal product availability
• Collect and analyze data on customer preferences, sales trends, and competitor activity to inform merchandising decisions
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a brand ambassador to our customers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to merchandising activities
• Assist with special projects and promotions as required
• Conduct daily field work to meet with customers and to saturate the area assigned

What we're looking for

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a merchandising or retail sales role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines and visual merchandising standards
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
