Wage: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour *Rates increase after completing training levels.

About us

Royal Star Hawaii is Oahu’s premier bus company since 1996. We are looking for a professional to join our team as a Dispatch Agent! Aloha spirit and a positive attitude are essential.

Only current residents will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Oahu Traffic and Driver Locations
• Rerouting based on Traffic
• Maintain On-Time Guarantee
• Log Times and Passenger Counts
• Keep in Contact with Agents
• Report Incidents and Accidents – Help Drivers through the Process
• Dispatch in the field assisting agents directly

Qualifications:

• High school degree, or equivalent.
• Must have skills which demonstrate the ability to converse with a varied clientele, via phone and email.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn various applications.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and detail oriented.
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to think and act quickly under pressure.
• Previous experience with customer service, travel industry, wedding and/or hotel hospitality services here on Oahu is a plus!

Working Conditions:

• Main Hours: 5:00AM – 10:30PM
• Office Environment + In the Field Dispatching
