Rpa Developer

The RPA Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, primarily Power Automate. The role focuses on automating business processes, integrating enterprise applications, reducing manual effort, improving operational efficiency, and enabling digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, Power Apps, Microsoft 365, and enterprise system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Process Assessment & Automation Design

• Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess feasibility.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to gather requirements.
• Prepare Process Definition Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and workflow diagrams.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Recommend process improvements and automation best practices.

RPA Development

• Develop and deploy automation solutions using:
• Power Automate Cloud Flows
• Power Automate Desktop Flows
• Power Apps
• Microsoft Copilot Studio (preferred)
• Automate repetitive business processes involving:
• Microsoft 365 applications
• SharePoint Online
• Teams
• Outlook
• Excel
• OneDrive
• ERP and CRM applications
• Build reusable automation components and templates.
• Configure approvals, notifications, business rules, and workflow orchestration.
• Develop integrations using APIs, connectors, and custom connectors.

Integration & Solution Development

• Integrate Power Automate with enterprise applications including:
• Dynamics 365
• SAP
• ServiceNow
• Salesforce
• Azure Services
• SQL Databases
• Design API-driven automation solutions.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth, Azure AD, and Managed Identities.
• Utilize Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Platform capabilities where applicable.

Testing & Deployment

• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Support release management and production deployments.
• Ensure all automations comply with organizational standards and governance.
• Validate performance, reliability, and scalability of solutions.

Support & Maintenance

• Monitor production automations and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for automation failures.
• Implement bug fixes and enhancement requests.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge repositories.
• Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical automations.

Governance & Security

• Adhere to Power Platform governance policies and security standards.
• Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and environment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Follow change management and release governance procedures.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform advancements.
• Explore AI Builder, Copilot capabilities, and Intelligent Automation opportunities.
• Drive automation adoption across business units.
• Contribute to establishing Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) best practices
